We reached Bologna by train (recommended) and then on foot to the Sanctuary of San Luca: the path, a destination for religious pilgrimages, is very particular: it is an almost 4 km long portico with 666 arches, 15 chapels and 489 steps. . We started from Piazza Maggiore, passed by Arco Bonaccorsi, Arco del Meloncello and turned into via San Luca which goes up to the Sanctuary from where you can enjoy a splendid view.
